The nearest comparison would be with the better end of liquid feeds that are based on molasses and urea, with added mins & vits. Those liquid feeds that are 12.5 ME (Chrystalix type blocks are 16ME iirc) are around £400/t for 60%DM (iirc). I bought a ton of 80kg Optiline buckets recently for £715.
Not a lot different tbh, if you allow for far higher DM% and ME, without looking at the value of convenience?

Ime they fill different roles though, and I may well have an income of liquid feed soon, to eek out Autumn grass with some silage (of which I have daft amounts surplus), to delay going onto winter roots.

Chrystalix 16ME kg dm
Pure cane molasses 9.4ME kg dm

What price is each per kilo?

I use promol 20 better dm and urea protein

I’ve no idea what price straight molasses is, but it’s very low in protein too, compared to the Chrystalix blocks or liquid feeds I was using as a comparison. So again, it’s just comparing like with like....

The Promol is only about 60%DM and 11.5 ME iirc, albeit higher protein than the Chrystalix (20% vs 12%).
