(a) We’ve just bought a skid steer mounted brush from RS Agri to blast the beds once a day (b) need a hand scraper for afternoon work

Have you asked the person driving the hand scraper what their preference is?
You don’t want to be like the farmer buying a tractor that the worker doesn’t like and then them leaving [emoji6]

The rake is great for combing and the top edge cleans mats well
The splayed fixing on each side is imperative for long life

Bought one of these 3weeks make light work of sand on mats. Had to use shovel and rubber scrape before. Cost £26 from builders merchants. Been back since and bought 6 in total because everyone liked them.

To resurrect an old thread, what’s the best hand scraper available? Fed up of the blades failing after a couple weeks on the ones we buy from wynnstay.
@jimmer what does your good lady use? Fairly sure she does a lot of hand scraping.

Bog standard curved scraper
Infuriates me that she can't adjust her toplink to prevent uneven wear
Wydale make a moulded plastic one with fixed rubber blade , seems a bit wasteful to not be able to replace it

We attached a peace of old polyurethane box scraper blade to ours two years ago no sign of wear yet will definitely out last the scraper.
