We have them and I would't have them again. After service had been awful as we have had problems. Been in two years now and top cover has splits in already.
This is my issue I have another shed that needs mats of some description, I’m thinking a continuous roll of thick rubber with a lot of saw dust on as we use a lot anyways would be fine

Have heard after service is very poor. Which top cover did you go with as there's two options? Think a yellow one and a thicker black one?

Put intershape mattress in here 4 years ago and pleased with them. Local farmer has had the same in for over 10 years and still pleased with them. Not saying they are any better than othe others I looked at but they were certainly cheaper.

I've also got wilsons with the yellow cover. Eleven years with no problems.
A friend sold his (when he sold his cows) after 15 years use. Top cover was still in good nick, but replaced .

Have some Wilson ones here, cows love them but they aren’t handy cleaned compared to the interlock easyfix ones we have. As for after service, we had a fair few cubicles of them that had went rusty after 3 or 4 years, they were replaced foc

Do you remember what they were called. I liked the look of Intershape ones before.

It's the latex ones I have

They had a stand at Dairy-tec this week an old mattress at the side of a new one which showed how well it had lasted. I find the company easy to deal with and have also had parlour floor rubber and calf hutches from them.

We've Wilson mattresses in maybe 12 years and they're as good as when they went in. Put in more this summer with the 30mm foam on top and cows love them. They did have issues with cubicles a number of years ago but they seem to have rectified that.

So is it possible to buy a solid rubber mattresses all in 1 roll? So no foam and top cover just pure rubber?

Yes, the wingflex was delivered like that. But i dont think you can get so much in every roll, they get verry big and heavy. But verry easy to connect them together after layed out.

Sorry to drag this thread up, just fitting mattresses for heifers and I think I’m going to go for intershape, they were 1200 pounds cheaper than IAE and have a fitting team.

I guess I’m asking if anyone thinks there’s any other mattresses worth looking at?
