Cucumber disease identification

Hi, wondering if anybody has any clues to what cucumber disease this may be... Based in the Lake District UK. Some of the fruits themselves have been affected in flavour - mostly bitter flavour. Doesn't seem to be any effect to the stems themselves just the leaves, fruit and flowers. Some gold gum was found on fruit and a tiny bit on the outside of some of the stems but nothing when stem is cut open.

Hi, wondering if anybody has ...
Virus if spread from one or several plants.. No sign of fungal pathogens; pale/yellow edges to discrete mould patches or rot lesions. If all plants affected at once however consider environmental effects. Cold, <12C sends cucs backwards fast.

Doesn't look like red spider mite but check beneath leaves with hand lens.
