I’d risk a cultipress it I was you they are loads better you can do it twice and first time a bit shallower so you can get a bit more grip for 2nd time.Have a 7710 and 7530 here and am thinking I will struggle. Don’t want to be crawling about and making half a job. Might be better with a unipress ?
What sort of job will a unipress do on ploughing?
I think without looking on plate on mine its about 3.5t but the same Cultipress could be over 5tWhat sort of job will a unipress do on ploughing?
Id up HP recs by 100 on a move from a Unipress to same width Cultipress & even that might not be enuffIts more about the weight of it dragging soil uphill, you need weight to pull weight so a ten tonne tractor will pull it better than a 7 tonne tractor and will probably be more powerful i.e. a Magnum rather than a Puma or an 8 series Deere rather than a 7 series etc..
Just looked them up 5660Kg is the weight of a 4.6m cultipress
where as it states a 4.6m Unipress of same year this is 2013 mind is 4246Kg
Mine is deffo plated around 3.5t ive seen it many a time
Yes the older model is less just found that also no idea quite why tho?
