Cumbria Steam Gathering ??

Never been before, but the chance to attend has come up this year. Is it a large event ? I'm Mostly interested in older tractors, trucks and cars etc. Steamers are nice, but preter the other bits realy.
Anyone been before, and your thoughts please.

One I'd like to go to - hoping that I can persuade my parents to go this year and report back.

It can't be too bad though if it's in its 46th year - that's only 4 years less than the Great Dorset. From the website it does appear like being a lot larger than your average small town vintage rally.

I wouldn't let the word 'steam' deter you in any case - our local rally is called a steam rally but actually there's far more vintage cars, motorbikes and tractors there by a considerable margin.
