I just wish us normal people can ignore all rules and laws like Cummings can, so how long till this guy is sacked?

Your author is a lovely piece of work ..

He is indeed a dodgy looking bloke, this journalist.

Have you done any digging to establish if the evidence regarding Dominic is true? It’s pretty damning if it is, would you not agree?

in what way is it damming ?

It’s not damning for a Dominic Cummings at all, but his father might be pi**ed off if this alleged planning issue has only come to light through this story. Oops.

All DC did wrong was, whilst an integral part of the crew telling us to ‘STAY AT HOME’, was to completely ignore that instruction, whilst assuming they were actually going down with Covid19, because he apparently felt he was a special case. Then he felt it was a OK to ignore the instruction again, either to have a day trip for his wife’s birthday, or to test his eyesight (depending on how gullible you are). Then he refused to show any humility, and failed to apologise or admit that he had in any way been wrong to do so.

Anything else around this incident is just fluff tbh.

I think it’s about time Dom was given a break ,not only is he a special special advisor but he’s got an autistic child and all the worries of running a country. Obviously the rules that mere mortals have to abide by don’t apply to him.

so this is just a witch hunt thread
if his old man has built/converted something without permission then its up to the council or whoever to sort it out same as they would for anyone else

Those who set the rules, should not be surprised when they get castigated for breaking them. In a free society, you can never have one rule for us and one for them!
It is going to come to a head in a few weeks if they do try and enforce quarantine for some travellers into the uk but not for sportsmen, politicians and I suspect celebs

Well, it’s apparently owned by Dom and his dad, built without planning Permission in a conservation area and has dodged CT etc. since it was built.
well IF its partly his then the council should sort it out and take appropriate action against both of them
not the first person to do that sort of thing and won't be the last, action should be taken the same as it would for anyone else and punishment dished out the same as for anyone else, after all we can't have one set of rules and one set of punishments for them and different sets for the rest of us

Apparently his modus operandi as special advisor, is to weed out the “elites” with their special dispensations in life. He famously started with a purge of top civil servants at the top of the administration.
But guess what, he forgot to look in the mirror.

Trump brought in his own Cummings in Steve Bannon. Two of a kind Cummings and Bannon.
Inevitably of course, Bannon quickly became surplus to requirements.

Boris now just needs the right time to sack Cummings (he has already wasted a few good opportunities). The halls of power around Westminster have by now had enough of the rif raf type. Time to revert to type.

You have to wonder that a degree in ancient and modern history, several failed and dubious business ventures in Russia and time with Micheal Gove are the qualifications and experience necessary has for running the Country. :scratchhead:

But he is not running the country. He is an advisor to the chap who is of course but That is quite different to running the country. As for failed business ventures, I believe you can learn more from your failures than your successes.

So when it comes to running the country and the official government management policy on Covid -19, it’s ok for government and Boris to say, “our policy is based on the advice from our scientific advisors”!
I take it there for, that in other matters the government policy is based on advice from others like and primarily Dom!!
So it does appear that the elected elites, are nowadays merely spokespersons for the unelected SPADS!
And funnily enough, this government was elected to “take the country back”! Back I guess from the so called EU unelected!! Well guess what, it’s best not to ask too many questions!!!
