It's a long shot, but a good friend is after a cummins tector engine for an iveco cargo 7.5t lorry, 58 plate. New or ideally secondhand

Cheers.

No, from Bedford. Are you selling yours on?
Yeah all sold
2 for spares, 2 later ones will be up and running and have horse box bodies built on them.
No one no's what's wrong with them yet so might be looking for 2 engines myself!!
Those engines are junk compared to old 6 cyl ones
Same engine in leyland daf LF45 series, Packard they are called.
Tector is model of lorry

Sorry, that's just what he told me, if it's the same engine then there should be plenty of them about then.

Paccar engines, friend worked for daf, and whenever I popped in there was always a paccar in trouble!! Could you not just rebuild her? Remember him telling me the sold genuine and non Gen. parts over the shelf there.

tector in the later iveco's
Cummins b5.9 in daf fa's
paccar 4 &6 cyls in daf lf's

I always thought that the LF and later Iveco engine was from the same family as the NH/Case tractor engine? Seem to remember that it was a joint development by Iveco/Cummins and CNH
