Curling ears in lambs

I noticed today in a batch of 30 cades that there is one with unexplained lameness, two that are failing to thrive and the have strange crusty scalps that end in baldness and curling ears. The two photographed are the worst.

Some have slightly swollen knee joints.

Is this Erisipilis???

Anything like this?

I know it's Oz but maybe they've eaten something?

No that's not it but interesting to read. These lambs are only 3 weeks old and just on milk but the mob goes up to 6 weeks.

The interesting thing is the ears curling back. I just think it could be related to the swollen joints. The two lambs above just aren't thriving and had crusty scalps. I thought it was just dried milk but the Charollais is now bald. My wife says it looks like the Staph infection she sees in pigs.
