Current market for autumn bulling heifers

Most years I sell a bunch this size in September. I haven't got many spare this year and we're back down with tb so they're all still here. I think I'd have to work to get £850-900 for them.

I like selling a bunch in Sept because they eat like cows by this stage and cost a lot in that final 5/6 months.

Was on Marteye i saw them sold must have missed the subject too announcement. Oops.
Yes think they sold in ring but a boy told me he took them back home. The last day I was in, sellers had to give the nod to get any bids so if the bids don't take off then you would have little choice but head to the office to reject sale.

Good 2nd Calver enters ring, bidding dries up at 1100, seller has to take chance bidding will go on so gives the nod to put it on the market. Bidding goes to 1800 happy days. The boy with bulling heifers mentioned above didn't get enough bids. Hammer dropped, provisionally sold. Seller rejects highest bids and took them home...so I'm told.

You give the nod they’re on the market. Should be the end of the story.
