Curtainsider as bale trailer?

Just got thinking as I potter about with a few bales on my trailer. Squares if it matters, 4 banders, 3 high, 3 wide and 4 long on 32ft (flat) drawbar trailer.
If I could find a 32ft curtainsider I could have enough side support to keep the stack together and leave the last load on the trailer for the winter.
I might even be tempted to going back to a dolly.

I might have to wait for the right one and take the airbags off.
Half that money would suit. ;)

I know that curtainsides no longer count as secure for fert bags etc but could be good for bales.
I keep drawing pics of 'easy-net' type assemblies to go over a load of bales but it's unlikely to happen just for my few bales.

The Staines trailers with side rails seem to max out at 24ft?

My Staines is 33ft.
Everyone seems to be making side rail trailers now- this weeks FW is worth a read.

This is a slightly different approach from the collapsing gate design

I think XL rated curtains are rated to 400kg packages. 4 stringers won’t be over this so would be OK.
However I think straps would be quicker and easier, as said 4stringers make the curtains bulge.
