Cutting stock board

What do people use to cut stock board? I need it to be a nice clean cut so I don’t think the grinder is the tool for the job.

Might be worth trying a hand saw with a straight line or timber guide?
My old woodwork teacher would be dead proud ..........
After cutting, wipe the board edge with a bit of emery paper, if you feel the need

Thanks for all the reply’s I will have bit of a play later I have a little bit to spare. I do like the idea of using the chainsaw.
