Cutting stock board

What do people use to cut stock board? I need it to be a nice clean cut so I don’t think the grinder is the tool for the job.

Might be worth trying a hand saw with a straight line or timber guide?
My old woodwork teacher would be dead proud ..........
After cutting, wipe the board edge with a bit of emery paper, if you feel the need

Makes a very neat job with one of the extra thin discs on.

I've always used a Jigsaw too, which only cost a tenner IIRC. Plenty around for next to nothing these days.

for big sheets just a normal wood saw and smaller cuts a Stanley knife, takes a couple of passes with blade then you can just snap it along the line

chain saw will be ruff ! circular saw be best .

Ok if you got a guillotine ,mind you I can’t imagine a lot of people having hand held circular saws

Sound like an a good reason to get a guillotine to me! I have got one of the evolution saws that’s what I was thinking of using.
