A couple of years ago i was invited to a farm visit by a friend , and we had Joel Williams on hand.I have also listened to him at Groundswell talking about folia feeding a 4-5 % urea solution with added carbon and nickel to cereals after an initial application of N.Has anyone had a go at this ? I have lots of fym from my cattle plus an offer of chicken muck ,could it work ?

That is the direction i would like to go,but i bought this farm only 2 years ago ,and it was/is in poor shape .I am in the early stages of no-till and cover crops ,so i have a way to go yet. I had better get all my clover seed bought whilst i can .

Doing it this year. Put 70kg Omex on already then will follow up with foliar nitrogen every 4 weeks until we think it’s sorted.

What’s the nickel for? I didn’t know it was a required nutrient?

Yes I recalled this and was planning on it. I’ve been having an email conversation with Joel and going to do an hour on zoom soon to get it nailed down.
Got a couple agroco mixing tanks so will make it in there.

I would be interested to know how you get on.I have just started using poultry manure ,so will hopefully be able to back off somewhat with bagged n.
