578 acres ring fenced for 2.7. 3 houses. Unless there is 250 acres of trees covering it it's a steal. What's the catchI think this will be the one you thought beefy a week back. The farm will grow grass most months of the year although broken type of coastal ground.View attachment 891478

None of them left now I don’t think, outdoor cubicles or sheds of some sort is all I can think of now. That farm had a really good milk contract aswell.I travelled from Dumfries to stranraer a few years ago on the a75 Hung a left and went to the top of a hill just 3 mile from the 75, extensive grazing farm with a big dirty water tank and parlour but no sheds, cracking job but bleak enough I'd imagine.
He stood cows off on wood chip pads
Outdoor cubicle fascinate me, there only good for dry cows, what happens in a sh1t feb when you've 200 calved? Just plough paddocks and stand them off? Because that ground i looked at would puddle fair.None of them left now I don’t think, outdoor cubicles or sheds of some sort is all I can think of now. I went round one of those set ups near Dumfries in Feb 2013, just as they were starting calving. In the March they had blizzards with weeks of snow and massive drifts. I dread to think how they got through it.Outdoor cubicle fascinate me, there only good for dry cows, what happens in a sh1t feb when you've 200 calved? Just plough paddocks and stand them off? Outdoor cubicles were seen as an answer in the 70s, a prominent coastal farmer championed them. Today said farmer has a good array of sheds and no outdoor cubicles.I went round one of those set ups near Dumfries in Feb 2013, just as they were starting calving.
