Dairy Farm For Sale

It's a high farm, about 1300' . He did multicut silage successfully starting late April early May. He was doing quite a bit of overseeding with a Moore to keep the leys in very good order.
I think the farm did sell quite quickly but the buyers pulled out due to unforeseen health problems.

Don't worry I’m going nowhere near that TB area 😂. I didn’t even get as far as checking the flood situation when I saw the area it was in. Husband has decided he can’t possibly bring himself to look at a place that calls itself Mouldyhills either 🙈. My drawing board is getting pretty tired now 😂
Managed to get round Mouldyhills yet 😂 anymore options popped up?

No, unfortunately we came to the conclusion that the name was one hill too far 😂. Nothing popped up yet, probably the wrong time of year now and especially since it appears to have suddenly turned into November 🥶🥶. Hopefully something does before too much longer or else FIL will retire (allegedly!) then there’ll be nothing to be done about it!

I tell you what, if it was called " Rose bank" and you went to view,
You would fall in love with it, both you and you husband,
Don't be put off by the name,

Oh I’m not suggesting it definitely has it, but regardless of whether it does or doesn’t you still have the increased testing frequency to deal with. And I’m not going make a conscious decision to inflict that chew on on ourselves!
Stop making excuses and get on with it. At least have a look at it properly.
Otherwise you’ll still be stuck where you are in10 years time!

Same as now, make excuses. 🙈
Very likely. Unfortunately since none of you know the full ins and outs it’s not exactly up to you where we decide to view/offer on is it? We also happen to know that Mouldyhills already has a buyer. So quite aside of the fact that I’m not prepared to list our reasons- sorry excuses- for not viewing it, even if we did it would be a pointless waste of time.

I'm guessing your wanting to move somewhere to spend the rest of your life/working life and are therefore looking for the perfect place? In which case I don't blame you at all, don't want to spend the rest of your life wishing you waited another few months and could have then bought the perfect farm instead of something "that'll have to do", good luck and hope something comes up for you :)

I'm in Tenby on a weeks holidays looking at farms up here seam a lot better value for money than home. JJ Morris several farms on the books, really don't want to leave Cornwall but would have to consider what's on offer, NVZ obviously being biggest snag.

Go to Ayrshire if you want value dairy farms.
