Went on a young farmers exchange to Stranraer,I couldn't believe the lad I stayed with let his cows out every day of the year,shame it's a long way from anywhere.
Was farm down Port Logan way advertised a few weeks back,didn't look bad but had a very near neighbour.

Why are the farms so cheap there? I just assumed it was the weather, but if he was putting his cows everyday, it can't be that bad. You only have to go into Cumbria and land value is half our area.
A self made local farmer who got to owning 500acres told my dad if he had his time again he'd go to Scotland.
