Need to realise how remote that area is but great grass growing areaExactly, bog is £10,000 per acre here
Inshanks Would sell for around £3500 an acre so I suppose several will be a more expensive farm no matter whatNeed to realise how remote that area is but great grass growing area
Who owns it currentlyhttps://www.onthemarket.com/details/6858918/

That seems good value? Is it a good area?Good buildings ect.
Make sure you're comparing like with like. The farm is a wet one, grow plentiful grass in a good year, but in a wet one you'll be scuppered !That looks great value. I'm pretty certain that would be £3.5m down here.

WowThis is next door. I rent some of it at the moment and it will be a shame to lose it but it's crazy money.

It would make a fantastic dairy farm with the 180ac FBT land over the over the road offered as well.

Yeah, I could just about do the £6.5, it's the 'm' on the end that holds me back.So would I. That farm is about the only thing in the world that I have ever really longed to own. Unfortunately I'm about £6.5m short at the moment

https://www.onthemarket.com/details/5194907/You don't think that £2.5m for a 5 bed house and £12k / ac is reasonable?
If you could put it on interest only at 4% then it's only £700/ac annual interest!

It will be for sale a bit longer now.....if planning issue is for lagoon surely they cannot refuse a steel tower ....so wouldnt it be better to get over this major issue before putting the place on the market.Slurry storage would be an issue, current owner has been unable to get planning for a lagoon. It's been for sale for a long time.
