Socialist government. Very high taxes most people pay over 50%. I spoke to a consultant vet and she was paying over 60%. She wanted to buy a Discovery but there was a £60k tax on that. Generational change costs a fortune 40% of farm value. Children cannot inherit they have to almost buy it. The retiring farmer then pays tax on the money he gets from his children for farm he has built up. The Scots have this to look forward to under Krankie if they become independent.Honestly thinking about it just for the location name.
Seriously though would it be a good country to be a dairy farmer?
