We are looking for suitable qualified people for our own and some of our clients automated dairy units
On my own farm we milk up to 300 but currently nearer 200 during the milk prices being low
We have 4 lely robots and a trioliet automated feeding system. We use uniform herd management software.
Part of the herd is a pedigree guernsey herd which is a contract managed herd belonging to Brymor ice cream who take all of the Guernsey milk
We are near the town of bedale north Yorkshire which is next to the A1M an hour from Newcastle Leeds or York.
We can offer a 2 bedroom cottage imminently and in time we are currently building a new house
We need a person with a high level of practical dairy knowledge, computer literate and keen to work as a part of a team with others who work from the farm in our other enterprises. On call working is required for alarm calls from the robots but early starts are not!
Our consultancy business also deals with a number of similar farmers who are also looking to fill various roles in Scoland, and the south of England. So if you are interested but unsure do get in touch
