Situation Vacant Dairy Parlour Technician

Job Title: Installation Technician
Installation Technician – Various Locations in the UK & Ireland

as an Installation Technician your main task will be to primarily install milking equipment on dairy farms throughout UK or IRE,

You will report directly to the Technical Support Manager and will be based remotely. Direction will be given by the Project Planners who will indicate the upcoming installations. You will be self-motivated and responsible for organising & prioritising your workload with a willingness to travel.

Experience and knowledge:
At least two years’ experience in installation work within the Agricultural industry
Technical and mechanical knowledge
Interest in animal husbandry and the dairy industry
Personal qualities and abilities:
Solution focused and delivering quality on everything that is being done
Flexible and can plan, prioritise and improvise according to the on-site prerequisites
Seize opportunities to come up with solutions instead of seeing problems as an obstacle
Self-starter and independent
Take a personal responsibility to deliver what has been agreed
Dare to lead colleagues as well as other staff
Make informed decisions when changes are deemed necessary
willing to learn to install new types of equipment to continually expand their skills.
Cross functional team worker with good cooperation
Confident and commercially aware
