Dairy-Tech 2018

Yes but it's just a cockstride for you. Seems a bit mad to have it in Stoneleigh with its poor communications (other than road) when most of us farm out West.
They should just get in to bed with Holstein UK and put on the show at Telford or similar

Not Telford, I waited over an hour for a car park space to come available there last September :(

All under cover today, apart from a couple of stands

How is Stoneleigh looking, last time I was there it had a very worn look. - apart from all the shiney glass on the new AHDB palace. that`s our money folks
Sad place now for those who remember it in the halcyon days when the Royal & Dairy Show were in their prime.

Real buzz at the show today, lots of new ideas, and not all expensive. Good format with the speakers hubs around the halls. Well worth the 3 hour trip.

It was definitely well attended and the as said above the hubs were all busy and spread around the show. The stands were a bit dotted about, stands you would expect to be close together weren't, but in a smaller show you can walk the whole show in one day anyway. Felt a bit sorry for the exhibitors in Hall 3, it was arctic cold in there. Personally I think Telford is too small for a show that is bursting at the seams there, but I understand it isn't easy for everyone to get to Stoneleigh either. Anyway enough of my ramblings, I put up some pictures from today...

Doesn't look like it was that busy going by the photos?

Everyone always says that, half the problem is when you go to take a photo, people move out of the shot because they think you are taking a photo of the stand. When in reality you want to give an idea of how busy it is. That's why I try and take photos of the corridors. It was definitely well attended, but some of the photos were taken early and it didn't really get busy until 11am - apparently there were ques outside trying to get in at those times.
