Have u heard different?

There is no way he resigned/ they asked him to resign over something like that!

If you look at his FB feed he has been pushing the market just a few hours before they said he was leaving, there is no way he would be doing that if he knew he was about to announce hours later he was leaving the market!

And what people dont know they"ll make up to look clever on ere!
No one is making up anything despite your claims!

But its very unlikely that he did get pushed out/ resigned over a cattle movements issue.

Given his posts on FB it does not appear that he was expecting to leave the market suddenly and at very short notice like what has happened!

He has a bit of history of leaving places "by mutual consent".
And he was fond of his own puff when he was an apprentice at Banbury.
But I'm not saying anything against the man, he seems well regarded by sellers.

Prime Lambs (1593) – Again the lamb trade firms, the heavy weights and the very best export lambs are extremely easy to sell, the creep fed lambs are certainly creating a gulf between themselves and the grass fed lighter weights at the moment. A good day for the pure Texel lambs of Dromanby Bridge Farm as they led both the pence per kilo and pounds per head selling on separate occasions to £138.50 and 310 pence per kilo. Some exceptional runs of lambs today were a credit to the producers and despite the two tier show on offer a sale average of over £100 was achieved. As has become customary with the cattle, this week the lambs leading runs are listed, congratulations to the top performers.
M Hutchinson, Evenwood Gate sold 38 Lambs to average £131.18
C & E Gaskin, Marwood sold 32 Lambs to average £127.42
W B Mitchell & Sons, Morpeth sold 54 Lambs to average £120.97

Cast Sheep (589) – The old ladies continue in exceptional form, this weeks average of £89 included a plethora of moor dwellers which were balanced by some magnificent continental ewes. Eight score and ten was the official number of ewes today which sold for at least £100, the best end were tremendous however, in truth none came close to a wonderful pair of pure Texels from Dromonby Bridge Farm which duly took the top spot at a brilliant £198. Mule ewes are still very capable of joining the three figure brigade whilst the best of the hill gathered Swaledale’s can sell over £80.

Pigs (14) – Pigs today seemed to be £90 or thereabouts, as the weight goes up the price per kilo comes down.

Pigs – Top prices ppk 110x2 105 100 J Mitchell & Son. 85 75 R Olley.
Lead Grossing Pigs £96 £94 £90 £84 J Mitchell & Son. £95 £93 R Olley.
