i will say you can modify the fans under the dash to give them a bit more airflow

both our 94s have had that mod done!

it did blast me with more hot air till i replaced the crappy foam insulation on the air intake housing with that solid foam what is now used to fill the gap between cavity walls on new build houses

its a right pain in the backside to carve it to fit though, its a lot more dense than the original

then you replace the DB motor and wiring with a fan unit form a Mk5 (i think it was anyway) ford escort van, have to carve a few bits off the plastic fan housing to get it in the airbox, silicone the lot in, silicone all the ducts leading from the box and anywhere else it can get warm air, so it can only suck from the outside

its not perfect by any means, but its better than it was

Buy a new gas strut!

My Da bought it in 1990 when 4 years old and it is no worse now than then. Keeps me awake

Spent a lot of time sweating in a 1494 lifting grass with a NH 339. Thing I love is the sun roof banging closed every we bump you hit.

i keep a small stick in the 398 to stop sunroof shutting, must get new struts sometime
