DAVID BROWN 1390 Trouble engaging 4th gear?

The tractor has been stood for 15 years and I'm struggling to engage 4th gear as the one lever has to be pulled up and other has to be pushed down can anyone shed any light on how to get this unseized thinking it may be stuck in two gears, Cheers Joe

If it is in two gears the gear box will be locked solid.
I think lots of wd40 spread about will help
Is there any muck under the levers.
Must say it is a pretty stupid place to put the range selectors
