I wonder if this is the new type diesel and also wonder if it is the seal(!) on a drain plug
Worth a try...
Can you get to it though...?
Pictures of your 1410 please!

Reverse her in the shed and split it .You will have it apart - tank out and back together in a day.
Buy a new clutch disc and release bearing and do them at the same time.
I haven't done a 1410 but done a few 996 tractors that the tank is full of crap on.
You will have it split in the same time it will take you to bodge a 5 gallon drum to it
No need, 1410 will run forever on a little drum of diesel!
Definately , chances are it's been split before so all the couplers are present.
Out practice now but back in, errr, 93 I think we had her split three times. The guy I was doing it with was a db specialist and as has been said, could do it well under a day but he is, sadly, no longer with us
