I did oil them before installing, and it’s now sitting over night. Will that qualify?:whistle:

It will have to wont it!!! To be honest I’ve yet to come across an oil tight rope seal!!! Out of interest when was the last time you did a conventional clutch? Sure I’ve not done one personally for three years or more in a tractor! Did throw one in the car when the DMF started to complain last year!

March was the last one, can’t honestly remember before that but I usually get one a year. Everything else is wet clutches now with probably averages out at one a month over the year.

Not many pictures today as there wasn’t really a lot left to do.

Pushed the two half’s back together, went pretty easy just had to turn the shafts a little to line up the splines.

New starter as the old one had recently started not wanting to kick in, and a tractor that won’t start is no use to anyone!
