David Brown 990 power steering

Looking at a David Brown 990 with loader. However no power steering.

Is it possible to buy a retro fit power steering set up for these like you can Ford’s?

It’s for Vicki at her yard and power steering is a must.

What’s the general opinion on these?

Wouldn’t be my first choice but the budget I have restricts my choice.

Looks a very nice tractor, for an answerthe DBTC website should be able to help. I rather suspect a retrofit is not available for a number of reasons, but hopefully am wrong
You could try ringing Barclay Williams

Yes it's possible to retrofit power steering, finding all the bits is another matter, although as @Exfarmer says above, the club or Barclay Williams are a good bet. One other I knew was Stephen Marsden 01484 685911, can't swear if he's still doing the job now though.
I have to say though, the loader in the picture is missing the cross brace between booms which is not good for rigidity

I don’t really want a project and to find bits etc. I was hoping I’d just be able to buy a kit and fit it straight on.

Power steering kit from a db breaker is an easy fit ,did my tractor in a day easy ,Actualy done 2 996s now and it straight forward once you get the right parts,think I was bout 400 all in on last tractor,

I've a loader laid here for a DB 780 if you find a tractor without a loader

Easy to fit, relatively.

But a full kit might be hard to find now, they do come up on ebay sometimes though....

But at least it gives you options

I have no knowledge of the seller good or bad ..........

Tractor looks tidy, might be worth checking lift (oil pressure) when hot?
