Hi, my David brown 1494 hydraulics are being very odd. We’re trying to get the ploughing done before the spring but we’ve had nothing but trouble with the tractor and the weather this year. This time the hydraulics and playing up. Randomly, the plough will not want to go down when the engine is revving high, however if you lower the throttle, it soon goes down. When you are trying to lower the lift arms when you’ve got plenty of revs on, the lever will always want to spring back. I’ve tried lowering the plough into the ground and setting off and then getting the tractor up to speed but the plough just comes out of the ground. Anyone know what a possible problem could be?
