David Brown Rear Digger

Aye-up,

Anyone interested in buying one?

It must be quite a late one because it's white and orange with the Case logo as well as David Brown.

It's complete with 2 digging buckets, a 4ft ditching bucket, beet/manure grab and clamshell bucket. It has the long arm for digging and the short arm for the grabs.

It has the stabiliser legs and all brackets to attach right under the tractor towards the engine. It even has the seat!!

I've never used it myself but did see it working shortly before I bought it several years ago.

It's in good tidy order. No wear in pins or bushes/ram ends. Very little wear on bucket edges.

Not sure of the value.

If you're interested, you know where I am.

Cheers, Pete.

Same as this one.

No, I bought mine from a chap near Newbury.

I don't remember seeing one at Moreton. Was it on a DB tractor or just blocking a gap in the hedge to stop the cattle getting out?

It turned up as I finished my time at MM ,,,,, seem to remember that it was brought to replace a very old fergy 2203 digger , just to be used for teaching students about ditching and such like ,,,,,, it was to be fitted to the daisy boooon that they had ,,,,,,,, last thing I heard no one wanted to drive the daisy when it had no back hoe on the back and that nothing changed when they put it on ,,,,,,,, no one still wanted to drive the fudging thing !!!!!!!!!!

The DB back how would have been no match for a 2203 which was a very good digger probably at its time as good as there was. spent many happy hours on one.
The DB though was rated superior to the tractor mounted opposition such as the McConnel.
