He’s definitely guilty of being a greedy twit. TBH Greensill must have known they were scraping the bottom of the barrel when they engaged him.

Edit I am sure I didn’t say twit.

Angle Eagle certainly landed a zinger asking about using Greensill's private jets to his third home in Cornwall.

The one overwhelming thing to me about Camerons frantic lobbying on behalf of Greensill is that despite having direct access to half the cabinet etc they all in effect told him to f off. He'd have raised more money sitting in a doorway with a cardboard sign. Greenhill certainly wasted their money paying him, truly he is "dodgy Dave"

Apart from enjoying the humor, what it sadly points too, is that the 'old boy ' network is alive and kicking and the extraordinary degree of arrogance and entitlement that these people display. The acceptable way of retaining wealth and privilege? or so they think.
But as I said before his lobbying was a spectacular failure, he may have had the contact phone numbers of the PM, Chancellor etc, but they all turned him down. Years ago I'm sure the "old boy network" would have come up with the cash. This whole saga appears to show that the "old boy network" is slowly fading and that Greensill wasted their cash

In this case it may not have worked, how many times has it worked that we don't hear about, but the fact remains, that there still is a closed group of people that hang onto power, influence and wealth, in ways that most people consider to be unacceptable.
