Rather tarnished forever anyway, architect of a lot of the mess we're currently in.
At least he did well out of it, as the political elite tend to do. Funny thing was he tried to play the hard done by victim card - I would also try to influence my mates for a fraction of that dosh!

I thought at the time that the Conservative party had scraped the barrel bare when they vote in IDS. Subsequent appointments have have shown I was totally wrong and the barrel has many more layers. And it may still give one last horror as the party faithful recently voted the queen of the vacuous cranial cavity, Liz Truss as their second favourite to succeed Boris.
