Watch his speech get dissected in tomorrow’s papers. Did you notice his shift in position on probability of talks breaking down from a few days ago? Then it was no better than 50:50! Now it’s extremely unlikely.
Bottom line is he is virtually announcing that Britain will continue to pay into the EU for continued access to the single market. I’ve been telling you lot as much for over a year now. #outnow replaced by #letskeeppaying

The biggest problem on our progress now maybe that Germany has no government.

It may have another election which could result in stalemate.

With out Germany I don't see any real progress on UK deal.

Much closer than Canada he says. Much bigger than Norway he says. Uniquely “integrated”, he says!
Hey ho ....... may as well stop faffing about and tell the people this was all a mistake and it’s back to the arms of Mama Merkel.

Blair engineered the signing of the Lisbon treaty even though it was right at the beginning of Brown`s shift, He denied British people the right to a referendum and signed away a large chunk of our sovereignty. Had we been allowed a referendum at that stage the Irish and ourselves could have perhaps combined notes and forced a different conclusion. Unfortunately the Irish capitulated and succumbed to a rerun and we were denied the chance by Blair/Brown treachery. Where does comrade Corbyn view all this ? He was after all a member of parliament at the time.
