Having trouble with the power steering, turning ok one way but not the other, I posted the problem on here some time ago but can't find it now, I was advised to change the hydraulic filter which I have got around to doing Noe but it didn't cure it but I can't remember what the other advice were, anyone got any ideas??

Just check the king pins first. Had 2 do it and on the first one we changed ram seals, pump, orbital and eventually found the seized pin.

Ok, but tractor is in a dark corner of the barn at the moment so will need to shift things about to get it outside as the photo was to dark to be any use?
simple way to test the ram is, if enough pipe then change the 2 pipes around that connect to the ram, yes this will mean turning the steering wheel to the right, and wheels will go left, but if the problem is in the ram with the internal seals, it will be hard to contract the ram with pipes on either way, and easy to extend the ram, again either way the pipes are on, this will prove everything is ok before the ram, if you see what I mean
