So what is the difference between the LP and deluxe? I had assumed yours just had a slim line, lower roof
The whole cab sits lower on an LP. It has a hump in the floor with the gears between your legs. Windows are smaller on an LP and the top half of the cab can be lifted off. The De-Luxe has a flat floor, gears at the side and has a roof hatch. LP was an option on 8 and 9 series, De-luxe on 9, 12 and 14 series. David Brown should've made the Sekura cabs standard and ditched their own cabs

Very much so.

I own, or have owned, all types of DB cab other than these Sekura ones, but remember spending a few days on one years ago, it was a big step back going to our VQ cab from that...

Emyr, have you ever tried indulging yourself, and sitting and working in one of those lovely roomy and well designed cabs as featured on 3000, 6100, 6200 and 6400 series Massey Fergusons?

That looks like a cab fitted overseas, the op will have a secura cab, same as @Boohoo has
At least that's what I would bet on

Never seen a cab like that before. Sure it's not one of these?

I'd bet it's one of them

And me, unless it's an import?

Good cab, them.

If it is one of them, they were a well known cab, JD, IH fitted them too...

It'll be the de-luxe Sekura cab, similar to my lp cab but with more headroom, a flat floor and gears at the sides.

That's the one!! (y)(y)(y)(y)

I have, but it's ok, there was no lasting damage... :)

Some people enjoy the exercise afforded by the ergonomic disaster that was a David Brown cab, even the sekura was somewhat of a rubbish by the time DB engineers had finished with it, however the fitness of the operators was second to none ..................................................................... especially those who climbed the north face of the Eiger on DB's own cab many times a day whilst on stock feeding duties ..............................:(
