DD a Bumblebird type mix into OSR Stubble?

Contract farm lads dived into the small of area of OSR here at the weekend, and left a longish stubble and a lot of chopped straw.

Wondering now whether it will be safe to Autumn DD the Bee and Bird mix, or should I disc first and get the seed over the back chitted, and also get the straw mixed a bit? I don't really want to go for a Spring drilling, as this land will not allow an early start next year.

Slugs.... Mix pellets with the seed I guess. 2kg/ha enough??

Plenty of time to allow a stale seedbed before planting the bumblebird mix?

Messed this one up by DD into the rape stubble, lost 90% and have redrilled this week...with pellets included!

Not really deep enough initially I suspect too as it was so hard, and I should probably have disced and waited. Everyday is a learning day! :)
