I think strip till into grass is the best option.
I can't justify a strip tiller so made our own version which we then follow with the Moore.
Worked fine and we will repeat. Mostly into barley stubble this year though.

Look like normal beet to me 👍

Technical question, what is a strip tiller? And how is it different to a Moore.
Also do you bulk up the seed with anything?
When we did the swedes we put a water bucket full of fert in with the seed. Would i need the same with beet seed. Was thinking either prilled lime or maybe slug pellets

DD some Winfred rape into burnt off grass ley , drilled 28th may and started to poke through after 7 days.

Just wondering when best time to get some slurry or muck on?

Let it germinate and get going a bit more or crack on

And muck ,slurry or both ? Won't get anything from a bag..!
