DD ring measurement

Another obscure question from me!

In my mind there is a measurement between the top of a set of dd rings and the frame that they are attached too, at this measurement the rings are worn out!
Don’t suppose any one knows this measurement! Would help greatly in judging if our rings need replacing!

Surely that is specific to model of machine. You could calculate it if you knew the original diameter of the rings. Surely a better tell would be the depth of ridge on the ring itself though?

Possibly I know that there was definitely a measurement for a cultipress although this time I’m specifically looking at a packer on the sld
