Yes was nice and dry only trouble is the dairy farmer didn't treat the maize with enough fert did well but really cost us in the end when you account for off takes of nutrients .

I'd love to grow it but my agro is along your line of thinking...saying it drains alot from dirt for its growth...that said there plenty of corn soyabean farms in USA?
