Deadly night shade

Does anyone know if ewes were to eat deadly night shade growing in a field. Could it cause them to abort their lambs?

I couldn't tell you that but I'd be surprised if they would eat it in the first place, I have a few plants on the land and I'm pretty certain they've never been touched!

If they were to eat it animals usually suffer paralysis, trembling, haemorrhaging and ulceration of the gut and excessive salivation and nasal discharge. If it doesn't kill them, a few berries could kill a child

But Is it Black Nightshade by any chance ? We get that as a fairly common weed about the place , around the edge / in cornfields that never does any harm it seems.
