I hate window tint on equipment. Nighttime vision is rubbish and after a few years it starts flaking odd. Horrible stuff.Local Council grader & roller parked up in my driveway during wet weather ( I’m actually on two weeks leave from Council to do some farming at home, can’t get away from them ).
Both have heavy canvas seat covers ( branded by the Australian Cat dealers, Westrac & Hastings Deering ) & dark tinted windows, in response to our summer temps
Doesn’t matter how good your AC is, when you are sitting on 10 tonne of hot metal, oil & engine, it’s 40 + C outside & the sun is a burning sphere coming through the glass, you need all the help you can get . . .

air con in 900 series Fendt keeps up in 40 degree plus temp very well
I didn’t say it peeled off. The surface is flaking. Will get a pic when back at the machine soon.never had quality tinting peel off.
Never really had an issue with night time vision in farm equipment, just depends how dark you go.
In the example of the Cat grader & roller, they would only be used through daylight hours anyway, so the darker the better
never driven a Fendt, but any glass box with the sun coming through at a low angle late afternoon when it’s over 40 C isn’t particularly luxurious, without tinting
