There's a couple of tri axle joskins with dribble bars or whatever on The back lugging digestate out of AD plants around here, ain't got a clue what they weigh out at but I'd be amazed if they're under 31 ton, I expect they're way over. Both the AD plants they run out of have weigh bridges so there's certainly no excuse for pleading ignorance to how much weight they are carrying if they get caught.surly if it goes on the road its illegal or is it different for tankers ?
if thats correct guess what I'm fitting to my truckAm I right in thinking that if the implement being towed has a pto shaft it's exempt from road weight restrictions say big tankers or the monster feeder wagons
I have certainly been told that, and have brought it up on here before but IIRC Simon Chilles who seems much more clued up on the law than I am didn't agree.Am I right in thinking that if the implement being towed has a pto shaft it's exempt from road weight restrictions say big tankers or the monster feeder wagons
I'm sure someone will find the regs stating otherwise but I was told that is how they get away with the weight issue with big kitif thats correct guess what I'm fitting to my truck
incredible isn't itAccording to your link, roscoe erf, it's 25,000l running at 62t, so 32,000l would be nearer 70.
Implements don't need brakes either unless the laws being changed recently.Am I right in thinking that if the implement being towed has a pto shaft it's exempt from road weight restrictions say big tankers or the monster feeder wagons
@Simon ChilesAnyone better on the technical stuff than me can tag Simon Chiles in on this, he could probably shed more light on what can and can't be done.

trailer with a pto driven walking floor would be the order of the day thenI have certainly been told that, and have brought it up on here before but IIRC Simon Chilles who seems much more clued up on the law than I am didn't agree.
I don't know the answer but if it ain't legal you would think as I have posted above that it would be an easy pull for the cops.
