It's time for a new pressure washer, have got a Stihl at the moment but it's been nothing but trouble blowing fuses ect.
What's everyone using bearing in mind it's only used occasionally to wash machinery down?

I got one of these, for use as a drain jetter, but I have used it far more as a pressure washer, and I must admit I think it is great,

If you have 3 phase then use it. If not we got on with Ehrl (spelling?), replaced 2 Kranzle which both lasted less than 2 years. We now have a Cleanwell steam cleaner 3 phase, really good.
The best thing I did is plumb it permanently in with a retractable reel for the hose. Easy to turn on just to do windows or wellies, rather than a 5 minute job to set up and put away.

I’ve had several nilfisk and all been ok.normally around the £5/600 mark,I can then swap parts about when they die
nick...

Pretty sure Stihl now is just rebadged Nilfisk. Should be a good machine. Pleased with the Nilfisk P2.150 I bought a year ago. 👍

A lot of the cheap single phase washers need the trigger pulled before you switch it on. 3 phase is definitely the best but not everyone has it. Spend some money and buy once

It blows fuses when you let go of the trigger for or than ten seconds!

Then it has an unloader valve or switch issue. Had a karcher doing similar, it was dirty contacts on the micro switch in the pressure switch. Been fine since. Have a look at them, if you’re not sure what they are or where pop up a few photos with cover off, someone on here will be able to guide you

Our Ehrl was the biggest single phase washer you can get. It kept blowing fuses until we had a separate supply put in and part of a 6" nail for the fuse (there were other pcb/fuses in the circuit), it worked fine then. The Ehrl could be for sale, it was going to be demoted to the pig unit but has never got there. If you are interested pm me and we might be able to do a deal.

Would be much easier to run it on a blue 16amp plug protected by a 16amp mcb or rcbo depending os installation
