Just to flag I coordinate a deer management group of committed and fully qualified stalkers (all of whom are also fully insured). We operate a free service but take our deer management role very seriously, and will put the hours in when landowners are suffering deer damage.
We ensure that landowners we work with get a ready supply of professionally butchered venison, a freezer of this is a major motivation for us to do a good job. It is my favourite meat!
Since my parents sold the farm I'm particularly keen to find some ground more accessible for me, from Somerset through to Sussex, or anywhere off the M4 from South Wales right through to London. At the moment I seem to be administration for the other members but can't shoot myself due to distance.
