Deere grain tank unloading slides position

Hi Guys,

Just wondered what position other people run there slides on the cross augers in the grain tank in? Cutting mainly wheat / barley, can sometimes get on the damp side.... Have always had mine at last half way shut down to be on the safe side, but noticed several other machines seem to run them all wide open, both sides right across the tank, and assume don't have issues?

Just wondering what other people do and if anyone on here has had problems with running them to far open and jamming / breaking shear bolts?

This is on the W / T series machines....

Cheers
