Defender chassis

There's a Landover specialist near me. His advice is to do a bit of work every year, such as brake overall one year, suspension the next, door hinges etc because it's going to need a chassis at some point and if you've already stated changing parts for new Its an easier and cheaper job to do. If you do it all in one hit there's no point bolting old worn out parts back on a new chassis so ends up an expensive job in one go.

Chassis has been collected by the garage doing the work and they have split her today. Eeeeeek. Thankfully the only extra thing they have found we didn't know about is a knackered fuel filler pipe so gonna get that replaced as well.
