Peter North is unusual; he is a young, very well-educated man who is a Brexiter through conviction, not through self-interest or ideology.

He is in a difficult spot right now, because he knows that Leave has lied and bullied their way thus far but - as its corollary - can go no further. His aims (a fairer and more democratic UK) have been compromised by the very vehicle he supported.

Bullies and liars abound on TFF, of course; from the guy who smeared me that I had been struck off, to the bullies who seek to prevent the other side of the argument from being heard. The cowardly moderation policy enables this scandal to continue.

So that's me done.

Here's Peter North, who sounds to me like he's also done with liars and bullies.

Good luck. It was nice knowing (some) of you.

Kind regards,

Walter don't go we need your insights, but why do you often just start a controversial thread and then not defend your opinions more.

I have a lot of time for Pete North, he puts forward a pragmatic approach to how the UK should have approached leaving the EU, backing it up with logical proven facts. It's a pity that Brexit now seems to be dominated by liars, populists and get rich quick merchants. Which if something isn't done soon is going to end badly for the country.

Says it all.

TBO my old laptop tends to crash watching things on you tube so its not so easy I have tried putting another lump of coal on it but that don't seem to help, funny it does the same thing on FB which makes stalking difficult LOL though you will be pleased to know it still seems to run TFF ok but I can watch George North on the telly and that works fine most of the time

Why what do you think "it says" ?

Says it all. As for your question, watch the video - you may find the answers in amongst the uncomfortable truth.

I've spent the last 45 years in the EU.

Why the hell do I need someone else to tell me what I have experienced ?

When you have dealt with the past 45 years of lies from the EU & Europhiles .. I'll take note of someone I've never heard of and quite frankly uninterested in.

Try, he is talking to people on your side, not me.:banghead: At least than you can tell us what you agree or don't agree with in his talk.

A WaltP thread - usual small essay to start!! And a quote copied from it. He was a tad optimistic - looks like March 2019 rather than mid 2018.

This thread was started in February 2016 - so well before the referendum. Quite prophetic.

https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/50-ways-to-leave-your-lover.106702/

Quote from it:

So there's a good chance we're gonna leave. How, no one knows. There's lots of ways the UK might exit the EU; my guess is that we'll carry on a proud national tradition, and leave in the worst possible way - on 2 year's notice, in mid 2018, with no plans or agreements in place. And, of course, having just jerked around some of our biggest trading partners.

Shall miss WaltP insights. Provocative and does seem to have some adversaries on here but in my view worth a read. Hey ho.. Best wishes all. Less than 900 hours to go.

@Henarar @ollie989898 @wanton dwarf i understand when you don't agree with those of us who see things differently, but now you are dismissing those who championed your Brexit. Pete North is the editor of LeaveHQ and a member of the Leave alliance, and whilst I don't agree with some of his motives or solutions, he is able to communicate in a manner that commands an element of respect. His message on that video is worth more to you than it is to is, but at least we listen to him.

Wanton, you raise some very valid points, you make a lot of sense in some respects, doesn't mean I agree with you. But blimey you sound like someone who has been in an unhappy marriage for 45 years, got divorced but instead of moving on just keep complaining about the ex.
