Peter North is unusual; he is a young, very well-educated man who is a Brexiter through conviction, not through self-interest or ideology.

He is in a difficult spot right now, because he knows that Leave has lied and bullied their way thus far but - as its corollary - can go no further. His aims (a fairer and more democratic UK) have been compromised by the very vehicle he supported.

Bullies and liars abound on TFF, of course; from the guy who smeared me that I had been struck off, to the bullies who seek to prevent the other side of the argument from being heard. The cowardly moderation policy enables this scandal to continue.

So that's me done.

His primary gripe is that his views are not represented in parliament by a worthy Brexit campaigner. He concludes that the EU is undemocratic (agreed) and that this is not open to change from within. He concludes that all the hard Brexiteers in parliament are peddling lies and also that Farage is a fake. Actually Farage is one of the few prominent figures who continually challenged the EU and its lack of democracy. Moreover not all of the comments made by prominent Brexiteers are lies though I bow to his knowledge and thorough research.
The undemocratic processes within the EU have given rise to a consequential web of entrapment and this is no accident. It is why we are tied in knots in search of an exit which has been carefully screened without anybody seeing it happen. We have been outflanked because, as we have trusted our politicians, the blind faith and trust of our parliamentary europhiles in the EU has also been misplaced.
I can understand where Peter North is coming from and I agree with much of what he says.

I don't know who he is, never heard of him, didn't listen to any leave or remain campaign, voted the way I did anyway.

I don't know who he is, never heard of him, didn't listen to any leave or remain campaign, voted the way I did anyway.

I didn't take much notice of the leave campaign as the ones saying/promising things were not in a position to deliver

Why do I need someone I've never heard of to tell me how to think ?

I've experienced the EU for 45 years .. I already know what I think of it, I've not been impressed with most of the politicians I've heard speak from either side.

It speaks volumes of your own state of mind to even think anyones words with an unknown background or experience can alter an adults thought processes. I listen to the words of those in my peer group who will not preach propaganda.

I don't think I even read or visited the Leave propaganda. Nor did I do the same with Remain. Case in point most of which was said had not been totally correct on either side .. who would have guessed ?

IMHO there are a significant number of politicians manoeuvring for position .. many will be taking money not just for their vote but also to speak in the House in favour of one group or another.

Be aware that those who have left the Conservative & Labour Party are being funded .. the question is by whom .. my guess is it'll be George Soros and maybe the EU.

Having lived all my working life, before the Common Market and then the gradual drip, drip towards a Federal Europe, my mind was made up before the referendum was even called.

The most pathetic part about all of Brexit is the FACT that Remoaners have delayed moving on and getting a trade deal.

THAT has cost jobs, money and will continue to cost both as long as the trade deal and fudgery continues.

As I have said .. adults recognise the situation and make the most of it whether they win or lose.

BS artists F about, spit out their dummies and trounce about in a huff .. doing nothing or worse destroying what's around them.

The most STUPID part about it all is if Remain was an option .. then there is a general election every 5 years minimum.
