@bovine any ideas?

One of my first born of twins had a serious alien face like half of the front was missing and mouth in the wrong place. It was breathing on birth I was freaked out. I didnt want to take a pic as weird. No further ones like it assume nature. The other twin lamb is fit and strong.

We get at least two or three 'not right' every year and always have, even long before schmallenberg was invented.

And more than often their at the start. Got a living pure ram lamb without a tail bone at all.
Had a lamb with 5 legs but it was head, another with 6 legs (4 back legs and 2 back halves of a lamb) which was alive until it came out.. we thought this was schmallenberg but we've always had these oddities for years, lambs with 2 heads, no spine, a limb missing, no bumhole(3 this year) , haermaphrodite (2 this year)..
Mother Nature is all I think it is?

Malformed jaws are just one of those things I think, used to see a couple out of 500 ewes every year before Shmallenberg came on the scene. Some of them were alive but couldn't suckle so had to be disposed of. Not seen a confirmed case of Shmallenberg but I've heard the leg joints can be backwards? I'd say that one is just one of those random freaks.
