Dehydration

we'll seeing as I've hardly slept all night again I thought I'd give you all a heads up.
Did far too much in the sun last week and apparently didn't drink anywhere near enough.
Went to play cricket Sunday and simply couldn't. Energy levels at rock bottom.
Went to work Monday and managed till 3.00. Went home and nearly passed out on sofa. Felt like I'd just had a good hiding from a set of Russian thugs. Every single muscle was hurting.

I normally have to be dragged to doctors but I was there waiting for them to open Tuesday. Got seen at 12.00.
Really badly dehydrated. Like having the worlds biggest hangover without the beer.

Anyway. Get plenty of fluids in you people

Did you know that you can lose up to 20% of your concerntration through dehydration?
I always drink plenty, I'll go one day and not drink enough then drink gallons the next day sometimes. While fencing I encourage stopping for a gulp of water frequently. It's the constant tea and coffee drinkers that suffer, get a point of water down you immediately!

Tea a coffee are diuretics which just flush straight through the body ,,I know when folks are allways making me a brew that within 30 minutes ,Ill be in the loo .
My dad used to take cold black tea on hot days, tasted awfull but he thought it was better ,,orange quash is another that never refreshes you ,,the more you drink the more you want

I often forget to drink when I'm on a West Yorkshire day. A couple of old neighbours make me coffee and bring it out and we have a catch up, but the following morning I'm often useless until noon. (no change there then).
Get well soon, rehydrate but don't forget about salts and sugars that need replacing. (crisps and biccies)

Myself & oh have been like this for a few days , she went to the doctors (unheard of) & was diagnosed with a virus . It makes you feel dizzy when turning round suddenly or standing up quickly . Probably dehydrated also .
Think it has been a virus ,,I had it couple of weeks back ,,friend has got it ,,head felt like a it had been squashed and feeling wacked out

I was like that for a couple of days last week, splitting headache from the bridge of my nose, behind the eyes and forehead. Thought it was hay fever as was bunged up as well, could have been a combination of all though.

Off to docs again today.
Feel brighter and less tired but muscle pain is unreal.
Every single muscle hurts as soon as I do anything. Can just about pick a drink up with 2 hands
