Load of fert due in 8.00am this morning. I am happy to stay away from from driver but considering not signing paperwork as no idea where driver has been and certainly from a long way out of this area. Just trying to do what’s right, in a small way. Too cautious? Does a tad silly when there were hundreds of cars parked up at Dunstable Downs yesterday all walking within metres of each other, idiots.

Trouble is, if you dont sign for it the driver/ Haulier might not get paid, through no fault of their own. All has some sort of knock on effect doesnt it. I agree with your concerns however.

Royal Mail have been instructed to just leave parcel on step and knock to make sure you get it ,then ask your name and postman types name in and puts a signature code in so you have nothing to touch. I’ll be very surprised if other companies don’t do something similar.

Does this virus not move in the wind? I am keeping a lot further than two metres from any humans I encounter, especially if they are up wind! Maybe 2m indoors, but out doors use commonsense.

Post or deliveries here get left on the ground by the back door, kicked inside with my foot, then not touched for at least 48 hours!
